Senior Specialist Supply Chain Management

Your Responsibilities

  • Supports the Manager Supply Chain Management to oversee the whole Direct Buying daily operations
  • Supports the Manager Supply Chain Management to oversee the whole Direct Buying daily operations
  • Coordinates all logistics process, in terms of shipping costing calculation, planning and scheduling, shipping arrangement to support Direct Buying shipments
  • Supports sourcing team on new product categories development on logistics
  • Resolves day-to-day team operational issues and consultation with the Manager Supply Chain Management when necessary
  • Supervise the Supply Chain Management team and support assistants with clear guidance on problem solving of any logistics issues
  • Supports the Manager Supply Chain Management to drive continuous improvement of logistics processes to increase work and team efficiency
  • Coordinates all logistics process documents and records ensuring that information is up-to-date and accurate at all times
  • Monitor and records ALDI logistics service provider KPI performance.
  • Effectively communicates with internal Admin and Sourcing Team members as well as relevant national and international Supply Chain Management departments and external logistics service providers to ensure the effectiveness and success of Direct Buying operations/ Ocean Freight Consolidation
  • Supports the Manager Supply Chain Management to conduct periodical operations reviews with ALDI logistics service providers to ensure in line with standard operating procedures (SOP)

Your Requirements

  • At least tertiary education with minimum 6 years of full time relevant experience, preferably in logistics department of Freight forwarder/Buyer/Sourcing offices.
  • Experience in reporting and analytics support in logistics field is advantageous.
  • Good command of both verbal and written business English as well as fluency in Mandarin essential.
  • Excellent analytic, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills, team player.
  • Attention to details and good organizational, coordination and planning skills.
  • High level of computer literacy: MS Office and Exchange; advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Experience with Logistics IT Software Solution is advantageous.
